On Monday night, Madison's class did a play about saving the earth. The message was about conserving energy, recylcing, the works. For weeks we have been hearing about it, and she has been memorizing her lines. We worked very hard on making sure that she spoke slowly and clearly.....our family has a tendency to speak so fast without taking any breaths that no one can understand a word that we say! :) On the way there, she confessed that her stomach had that "weird" feeling. I reassured her that those were butterflies, and she would do awesome!
Well, she recited her lines and did her dance like a champ! We are all SO proud of her, and took her out for ice cream last night to celebrate her courage and accomplishment! Way to go, Maddie! We love you!
