Amazing family vacation!

Our little family of 4 went on an amazing vacation this year. I had told Jim that I wanted to do a vacation, just the 4 of us, because we (me, and the kids) had never done one before. We have always va-ca-ed with family or friends, never just the nucleus. We picked Ocean Isle because it is non-commercial and quiet. No one got bored, everyone looked forward to waking up and heading off to the beach, the kids loved it.....oh, and our TV only got 3 channels that we wanted to watch.....the others were the shopping network and the Latino channel. :) We got lots of sun and had a ball. Here are some pics to prove it!


Jordan absolutely loved the water, and couldn't jump waves, catch balls, or body surf more....even in his clothes on nighttime walks!
No, I didn't pay a professional to take pics....my parents came by for 2 days and I asked Dad to take some "professional like" pics of us in white on the beach. He did a great job.....you'll see at Christmas!

After mini-golfing, we decided to walk out onto the pier. It was a beautiful night and we watched people reel in fish, and baby sand sharks......that was a little eerie!

Our little sand shark herself. As much as Jordan was in the water, Madison was playing in the sand. She never got bored with it, everyday she made something new and suckered one of us into making a castle or creature....or a "spa" with her.

Can't wait for our next family vacation!
