Not your ordinary date night......

There was no dressing up, there were sweats and comfy clothes.
There was no deciding which restaurant to go to, there was a romantically decorated dining room table.
There was no babysitter, the kids went upstairs and actually entertained each other for 2 hours and never bothered us once!
There was no drive in the dark, and in the rain; there was a leisurely walk from the kitchen.
There were no distractions, just quiet times and great conversation.
There was no wondering what to order and the potential for being disappointed, there was fantastic food including: Filet MR with sauted mushrooms, steamed green beans, spinach salad, and twice baked potatoes, not to mention a little Merlot :)
There was no bumming that we didn't get *a night out to ourselves*, there was the start of something pretty fun, a night in.
Looking forward to our next "date"......
